Recognition

“These flowers don’t have a purpose, unless you count the most important purpose of all, the one everyone lives for: love.”

– Armand Marquiset

Little Brothers is grateful for the invaluable contributions of our volunteers and acknowledges their efforts through a variety of annual events.

Juliette-Huot Award

This award, presented at our annual general meeting, honours the outstanding commitment of one of our volunteers. It is meant to draw well-deserved attention to the hard work and dedication of those who make Little Brothers what it is.

Awards ceremony

Volunteers who reach their two-, five-, ten-year (and longer!) service milestones are invited to a ceremony to receive a medal or gift in recognition of their longevity. These events are also an opportunity to publicly acknowledge the exceptional commitment shown by some of our top volunteers. In addition, a personalized message of gratitude is provided to all those who have been a part of our extended family for five years or more.

Volunteer receptions

Fête des bénévoles Montréal - facebookWe know that our volunteers are sociable by nature, which is why we organize a series of events to give them the opportunity to celebrate as a group. These are ideal occasions for them to meet and interact with people whose experiences are similar to their own.

As our founder, Armand Marquiset, once said, “It is our uncompromising belief that a token of love has to be something that is above and beyond the daily necessities.” At Little Brothers, we strive to ensure that the love we show the members of our family continues to honour this philosophy.
