Jean Besré Bike and Walk A Thon
Calling all walkers, runners and cyclists! Come be a part of the 12th annual Jean Besré Bike and Walk a Thon on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Our honorary event chair will be none other than Little Brothers’ provincial patron, Béatrice Picard.
This year’s fundraising target is $30,000 in honour of our Sherbrooke chapter’s 30th anniversary.
All donations will be used to expand our activities in the Sherbrooke area and reach out to even more isolated seniors to ensure they have an extended family to turn to in their twilight years.

Invitation from Béatrice Picard, Honorary Event Chair and Provincial Patron for Little Brothers since 2007
To the Young and Young-at-Heart:
If you’re looking for a great way to put the “fun” in fundraising and support a very worthy cause, I have just the event for you – the Jean Besré Bike and Walk a Thon on June 11, 2016, in support of Little Brothers.
That’s right! Together, let’s get out there and get moving. Not only will it be an excellent opportunity to boost your physical and mental health, there’s no better way to give back to the elderly in our community who are in dire need of our love and companionship.
I’m sure if we put our hearts into it we can reach this year’s fundraising target for Little Brothers’ Sherbrooke chapter and put an end to the loneliness that plagues so many of our seniors. You have no idea how much joy you’ll be bringing into their lives by giving them an extended family who will be attentive to their needs – no matter how big or small. Whether it’s making a lifelong dream come true or just knowing that Little Brothers’ volunteers will be by their side until their last moments, every act of kindness means the world to our Elder Friends.
I’ll be there – and I hope to see you there too!
Now get ready… Get set… GO!
