Volunteer at the Thrift Shop
DONATE YOUR TIME
Do you have a few hours per week or per month to give? Join La Boutique’s enthusiastic and friendly team.
We have several volunteer positions available: la Boutique is always looking for sorters, packers and clerks to help run the store and serve customers.
Volunteering at La Boutique is a great way to help give a second life to the items donors take to the thrift shop at 1380 Gilford Street in Montreal. You’ll be doing your part for the community, the environment and socially isolated seniors.
La Boutique is run by a team of close to 70 volunteers coordinated by a courteous and devoted staff.

LOUISE LOZEAU – A VOLUNTEER AT LA BOUTIQUE SINCE 2012
”My name is Louise Lozeau and I have been a cashier at La Boutique since 2012. I am 60 now and I’ve been retired for almost three years. After 35 years working as a professional for the Government of Quebec, this is a whole new thing for me!
My time here makes me feel happy and useful and gives me the chance to meet some great people, both customers and other volunteers.”
